Quality of life visits
Home visits can be arranged in advance to allow us to meet with you and your pet, discuss all of the details of day to day life, and perform an examination. Through this process we can help monitor quality of life, optimise pain control and comfort when it is not time to opt for euthanasia and ease the decision making process when that time is approaching.
Euthanasia
When the time comes to say goodbye we can plan a visit for a time that suits you and allows everyone to be prepared.
Euthanasia at home allows your pet to pass peacefully where they are most comfortable, surrounded by the people they love.
Prices
Quality of life visits are priced at £75​
Home euthanasia costs depend on pet size:​

Small dog (up to 10kg) £250

Medium dog (10-20kg) £275

Large dog (20-40kg) £300

Giant dog (>40kg) £325

Travel fees of £25-100 may be applied depending on location and travel time. Within the Kinross area no travel fee applies, beyond Kinross travel time is charged at the discretion of the vet.
We generally ask for payment ahead of time to make sure that all of the difficult parts are done and allow you to concentrate on just being with your pet when we come.
